A few years ago I was looking for a subject to study and lecture on. A friend suggested sky phenomena, as an overlooked branch of physics.
When I started to research the subject,
one of the first books I came across was Robert Greenler’s
“Rainbows, Haloes and Glories”. This was a perfect choice for me.
But best of all … all the illustrations in the book were available as a slide set!
A field guide to the wonderful variety of sky phenomena, illustrated by the slide set accompanying Robert Greenler’s “Rainbows, Haloes and Glories”.
